Can't sign in to Microsoft account on Groove Music

I am using windows 10, not an insider build, and groove music will not allow me to sign in to my Microsoft account. Every time I try, I get the message "Please try again. If the problem continues, visit www.xbox.com/support to check for guidance." I have tried this but the xbox site does not reference Groove Music anywhere. I am also given the error code "0xc00d11cd (0x837500009)", yet when I search these codes I am given advice on how to fix this problem in xbox music, which is useless, as I don't have xbox music. I have groove music and would like help with this, not an older version of the music player. Anyone know how to help?

Hi David,

I changed my region settings from Canada to US and it worked. I suggest you trying this. I suppose that Groove Music isn't working in all regions yet.

Let me know if it worked.

Region was already correct.  No change was necessary.  The problem is also occurring on my laptop.  Looks like it will require an update fix.

I have all the same complaints. I've been able to sign in to my iPhone without a problem, but can't access Groove sign-in on my Windows 10 laptop. I see no one from Microsoft has responded with any help either. In fact, I'm having trouble with every app since my conversion to Windows 10. I like the concept and hope to keep it, but at this rate, nothing is working right. I'm most upset with the Groove App. If anyone knows the secret way to access a sign-in screen, please do let us know. AND I MEAN MICROSOFT.

As soon as Groove tries to load either Artists, Albums, or Songs, the program crashes.

I tried sfc /scannow, and it reported errors it couldn't fix. I tried uninstalling Groove and downloading it again from the Store, and that didn't work, either.

I noticed after the reinstall that if nothing is selected, Groove doesn't crash, but as soon as I select Artists, Albums, or Songs, it starts loading the music for a moment, and then it crashes.

I noticed also that my Microsoft Account isn't visible at the bottom of the window. Perhaps that has something to do with it.

I had the same problem. Microsoft played with my tablet for more than 90min and couldn't fix it. Finally I started poking around and this is what fixed the problem: make sure Groove Music is not working; in the explorer navigate to C:\Users\<user name>\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.ZuneMusic_<some random sequence of characters>\AC and rename the folder TokenBroker to say TokenBroker1. Start Groove Music. The app should be able to sign you in now. It will create a new folder TokenBroker. Go ahead and delete the renamed one.
