Remove NBA Virtual Account from Teams

I joined the Virtual NBA fan experience via teams and now the account information is now locked in as a "Work or school account."  How do you remove the account without being able to access the account (no password now that the account is no longer active)?

This worked for me:

  1. Click the "Access work or school" item in the left pane of the Settings app on the same screen that shows your Email & Accounts
  2. Click the NBA account
  3. Click the Disconnect button
