Microsoft Teams: Cannot Sign in

I use Microsoft 365 Family and would like to try the Teams Free app, but whatever I do it will never let me sign in.  All I receive is this error message, every time:

'Someone has already set up Teams for your organisation

Ask your admin to get you started with Teams, or set up another org in Teams using a different email address.'

I cannot get past this whatever I do and I have never knowingly signed up for any Teams account before, so have no idea why this is happening.

The email address and sign in credentials I am using are the same as registered for my Microsoft account.

Please help.

I should also add that there is no 'IT Department' or 'Admin', it is just me, no one else deals with any of our IT stuff.

I have now spent countless hours trying to sort this out and end up just going around and around in circles and come back to the same point.

Loads of people seem to have the same problem, but it never seems to be resolved and MS do not seem to want to address/rectify the issue as they just refer you to totally irrelevant Q&A links.

Hi Daniel

Thank you for your reply, unfortunately I have already tried all of that advice as I found that on a Google search, unfortunately it still didn't work.  But it did take a very long time to do!

Any other ideas to try?

So i have the exact same issue and Microsoft CS told me to ask my question on here as this is where the Tech Admins will answer this type of question.

The weird thing is that i can login on one device but not another using the exact same information.

Are there no MS admin staff here to  help?

If so then please just use another personal account then visit the following article to find out how to sign up for MS Teams free https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/sign...

In case you don't have another personal account then you can create it here: https://signup.live.com

Same here, I was sent here by clicking the 'speak to someone from Microsoft Support' button.

I appreciate the support being offered by the community, but that is NOT speaking to someone from Microsoft - which is what was offered/requested.

Thank you.

Is there really no other way to fix this, as I;

(a) do not have another email address and

(b) really do not want to have to set one up just so that I can use Teams and get around what appears to be a Microsoft glitch?

DanielTech. Sorry but that doesn't help at all.

There is obviously an issue with MS teams that  need fixing and if Customer Support informs customers to come here for support there  really should be support here right?!?
