Teams freezing when adding a contact - XenApp Desktop

We have Teams running in a layered Citrix image.  When you try to add a contact in Teams, it freezes.  Nothing helps except to kill the process.

Based on your description, I tried to do some research as well as reproducing your issue on my machine. However, since I am on a Teams for Windows environment, adding contacts work smooth both for Teams desktop client and Teams web app.

I found in Citrix docs about Optimization for Microsoft Teams and see the following: "We recommend installing the VDA before installing Teams in the golden image. This installation order is necessary for the ALLUSER=1 flag to take effect. If the virtual machine had Teams installed before the VDA was installed, uninstall and reinstall Teams." I'm not quite sure if it applies to your scenario. To better support you, you may contact Citrix support for specialized suggestions. Thank you for your understanding!
