List app tab not showing up in mobile for 1 team

I added a new List to a channel in one of our Teams and it shows up in desktop, but not mobile.

I added a similar list to other teams and they show up fine in both desktop and mobile.

This is true for all users who are in both of the Teams.

From what I can tell, both teams have the same settings and the channels in question had the same settings.

Is there something that would directly affect the Lists app from showing in mobile?

Based on my knowledge, users can't create new lists or pin existing lists using Lists on the Teams mobile client. To view or edit a list on the Teams mobile client, a list must first be created or added using Lists on the Teams desktop or web client. So please make sure that the list was created from Teams desktop or web client in order to check from mobile end.

If the list was created from Teams desktop or web client and still not shown on mobile devices of users in this Teams group, to see if the list was created successfully, please kindly log in to Teams on the web to see if you could see the list there. If there are no lists shown on Teams on the web, this list tab may not be created successfully. To further check on this, please kindly go to SharePoint site and see if the corresponding data was stored there and if the right permission was assigned to members in this group. You could check the corresponding SharePoint site by clicking on the three-dot icon next to "Edit in grid view" at the top of the Lists tab. For more information, please refer to Manage the Lists app for your organization in Microsoft Teams & Get started with Lists in Teams.

If you could see the tab and related data on Teams on the web and SharePoint site, chances are that it is related to Teams mobile app itself. To check this, please kindly ask users in this group who could not see the list to uninstall and re-install the Teams mobile app to see if it helps.

If the list was not shown in Teams on the web or the data was not stored in SharePoint site, please kindly backup related information, delete the tab and re-add it to see if it works.

The list was created on desktop and does show up in desktop and web clients. It does show up in Sharepoint.

Same org, other Teams the list shows up (Teams with same users). Those Teams and Channels have the same settings as the Team/Channel that is having the problem.

Have tried clearing cache, reinstalling app and rebooting phones - no change. And again, Lists show up fine in other Teams/Channels in the same org on the same devices.

Thanks for the update on your test results.

 

Based on my experience, if the list couldn’t show up in one channel of one of our Teams groups, it might have something to do with how we name the channel. To check if it is the cause, please kindly rename the channel (could be similar as the way you name other channels where Lists show up) and restart Teams to see if it works.

 

If it doesn’t help, please kindly provide us some screenshots of the channel that does & doesn’t show Lists on mobile end as well as on Desktop/Web client that could indicate your problem for further analysis. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
