Chat option showing only my posts but not from others

Hello,

During TEAMS meetings, we are noticing few people are constantly facing challenges accessing the chat window or even if the chat window is accessible, they can see only their posts but do not see any other posts submitted by other participants in the meeting.

Sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue. It might be due to the messaging policy set by your admin. If Chat is turned off, they won't be able to participate in personal chats. They can only send messages in channel conversations.

Thank you. We do not have peer to peer chat enabled yet. However I believe these users should be able to use chat during an ongoing meeting same as everyone.

You're welcome, Iswar. There's also the chat option in a meeting policy. That one must be what's disabled since it happens when you're in a meeting.

Thanks. Looks like that is not the issue as chat is enabled globally in Meeting Policy and as per screen shot from my Admin, it shows "Allow chat in meetings" enabled.

Thanks for the reply, Iswar. Have you tried signing in the web client to see if the same thing occurs? You may also try to uninstall then reinstall the app.
