Hello Aref M,
Thank you for contacting me regarding your issue with the white background in Microsoft Teams' dark theme. To resolve this, you can enable the dark mode in Microsoft Teams by following the steps below based on your device:
- For Windows, Mac, and Web:
1. Launch Microsoft Teams on your desktop or in your browser.
2. Log in to your account if you haven't already.
3. Click your profile icon in the top-right corner of the window.
4. Select "Settings."
5. Click "General" in the left sidebar, then choose "Dark" on the right. Teams will immediately turn darker without any prompts.
6. To revert to the default light theme, click "Default" on the same screen where you chose Dark.
- For Android:
1. Open the Microsoft Teams app on your Android device.
2. Tap the hamburger menu (three horizontal lines) in the top-left corner.
3. Select "Settings."
4. toggle on the "Dark theme" option under the General section.
5. A prompt will appear asking to restart the app. Tap "Restart."
6. Dark mode will now be activated in the app. To switch to light mode, toggle off the "Dark theme" option.
- For iPhone and iPad:
1. Launch the Microsoft Teams app.
2. Tap your profile icon in the top-left corner.
3. Select "Settings."
4. Choose "Appearance" from under the "General" section.
5. Tap "Dark" to enable dark mode.
6. A prompt will appear asking to close the app. Tap "Close app," then manually reopen it to see it in dark mode.
7. If dark mode doesn't work for you, tap "Light" to go back to the default light theme.
If you're still encountering the white background issue during meetings, it might be related to a specific setting or a bug. Unfortunately, I don't have a direct solution for this.
Kind regards,
Segunfunmi.
