Additional tip: Outlook Tasks = Microsoft To-Do.
This is a great app for managing your To-Do list across the Microsoft suite. It also integrates with Microsoft Planner which very useful in Teams. Available on all platforms and free. Also available in Teams.
To create a To-Do / Outlook task from a Teams Chat or Post:
Right Click or Click on the ... on a message, reply or conversation
Point to More actions (next time you can skip this step)
Click on Create Task
Optional: Set a due date and details
Click on add task
Now check the tasks section of Microsoft To-Do and you'll have a link directly back to the chat.
Does not replace the 'save' feature, but it is a better workflow for managing tasks that you need to complete in fast moving chat.
