Teams - No video and they cant hear me

When I start a Teams meeting even thou my video is on there is no video. Participants can hear me but I can't hear them.

I've been into the settings and access to my camera and audio is enabled.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Alastair

Hello Alastair,

If you're experiencing issues with video and audio during Teams meetings, there are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:

- Check your camera and microphone:

Ensure that your camera is connected properly and not being used by any other application.

Test your microphone using the "Test Call" feature in Teams. You can access it by clicking on your profile picture, selecting "Settings," and then choosing "Devices" from the left sidebar.

- Grant Teams access to camera and microphone:

Go to your computer's settings and check if Teams has the necessary permissions to access your camera and microphone.

On Windows, go to "Settings" > "Privacy" > "Camera" and "Microphone" and make sure Teams is allowed to access them.

- Update Teams and your device drivers:

Ensure that you have the latest version of the Teams application installed. Check for updates in the app store or manually download the latest version from the official Teams website.

Update your device drivers, particularly for the camera and audio devices, to the latest available versions.

- Restart your device:

Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve temporary glitches and restore the functionality of the camera and microphone.
