Teams live webinar - time delay

Hi,

Could you please let me know if there have been any enhancements in the time delay for live webinars?

We held a Q&A session and had a 30 second delay, so have stopped using it.

Thanks

Hi JaneOts,

Welcome to the Microsoft Community.

It sounds like you are encountering a 30-second delay when taking a live webinar on Teams. Sorry for the inconvenience you are facing.

It's a normal condition that there will be a 15– to 60–second delay from the time a media stream is broadcast to when attendees see it. You can click here to check more details.

And if this gives you a bad experience, we're more than welcome if you share your concern on Teams Feedback. Your feedback will be heard by our Teams team, and the engineers will consider improving it.

I hope this helps. Kindly correct me if my understanding is biased, and feel free to reach back if you need further assistance.

Best regards
