Teams: Large Gallery view is not enabled

During a channel meeting with 25 participants the Large Gallery view is dimmed and cannot be enabled.

I have activated the new experience (in german see picture), I have installed the last update (04.11.2020) and I have deleted the App-Cache in ....appdata\Roaming\Microsoft\Teams

May I ask, have you clicked the large gallery view option as shown in the screenshot below?

This entry is always dimmed! I cannot enable large gallery.

(see screenshot, 20 pariticpants in the meeting)

Could you right-click the MS team icon in the taskbar then select quit.

Then righ-click MS Team icon on the desktop > select properties > Under the compatibility tab, check the "Run this program in compatibility mode for" option then select Windows 8 from the dropdown list (see screenshot).

Please let me know if the problems still persists.

I started a new meeting - and now Large Gallery can be selected, but I see only seven participants instead of my 20!!!!! Switching to Gallery I see again 9 participants.!
Are there only the participant with "Video  on" in the large Gallery???? I thought I can see all participants!

It's probably just an intermittent issue.

Please try these steps:
1. Create a new Windows account:

2. Install MS Team in a new windows account.
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/m...

My Teams-User is an AD-user and administrator of the system (*** Email address is removed for privacy ***) - I cannot create an new account!

When we are sharing our screen within a Teams Meeting with less than 10 attendees, we are unable to use large gallery.  As the facilitator I need to see all of the attendees to view engagement of attendees. Will Microsoft be opening this up this function to use for less than 10. This is an issue for our teams and that is why we are using Zoom instead. I am wanting to really push for Teams but this is a barrier to Execs wanting to use this.
