Surface Pro 4 Front Camera in Teams

In Teams the only camera that is available is the rear facing camera (not helpful). I have tried updating drivers, uninstall/reinstall Teams. I am still only able ot chose the rear camera and the front camera is not presented as an option.Any suggestions on other things to try?

Regarding your issue, please go through the below settings, to check if it helps to resolve your issue.

 

  • Open Windows Device Manager (Right click on the Windows menu, select Device Manager)
  • Scroll down to System Devices; click to expand the menu.
  • Double click on either Microsoft Camera Front or Microsoft Camera RearSteps on a Microsoft Surface device to either enable or disable front and rear cameras

  • Select Enable Device on the camera that you want to use; Select Disable Device on the other.

Tried all that. Disabled the back camera and left the front camera enabled. Now in Teams it does not show a camera as available. Could be a problem with the front camera device? I have attached the device manager report which shows an error in March. Could they be related? What would the solution be?
