Sharing sound in Microsoft teams doesn't work specifically it's called "include computer sound"

So I need help with fixing the "include computer sound button" for some reason it just ain't switching. Just stays same position like if it's not available. Another thing is that I got an Audio interface from Focusrite scarlett and I had it for years and I could share sound before on teams. I updated the drivers just in case but nothing changed. So yup it happened suddenly and I have no Idea why. I can just post a screenshot of it.

So basically this switch just doesn't work and yup, the mouse changes to the clikcing one but after u click it stays as is. I decided to ask here cuz I rly am curious why this is happening. thanks everyone ;)

Hi Lionelthelionart, I'm Sergio, it's a pleasure to help you.

This behavior can be different reasons.
You can try these items, please let me know about the results:
1. Verify for pending Windows updates to execute.
2. Verify for pending Teams updates to execute.
3. What happen after you remove the cache and reinstall the Teams app?
a. uninstall the Team desktop app.
b. Go to File Explorer, and (Windows 10) type in appdata\Microsoft\teams and remove all the content. In Windows 11 you type AppData\Local\Packages\MicrosoftTeams_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache and remove all the content.
c. Reboot the computer and install the Team desktop app again.

Greetings.

Hello Lionel. This is an extrange behavior, it seem that something is blocking the feature.
You keep in mind that Teams and your computer need to be set to the same speaker. Adjust your computer’s audio output in your system settings, and your Teams audio output in your device settings in Teams.

Another option is try using your mobile to isolate the problem to your computer.
Also, you can try to isolate the causes executing the app and try to do from a Windows clean boot environment.

This process isn't a reinstallation, you don't lost any app, file or setting.
You can see how to do step by step in:
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/how-t...

I hope that you can solve the problem, please let me know about the result, because other users with the same problem will know know what to do.

Greetings and have a nice day.

Hey again. I didn't try a clean boot yet but I did another thing to see if it's my pc's fault or sth else. So I installed Microsoft teams for my school. It's the version for business and school. So I was in a meeting and I remembered that I could check and well I opened the tab and clicked include computer audio and it turned on as usual. So problem is isolated to Microsoft teams the normal version. Tbh I'm a bit confused now. If anything there must be a problem with compatibility or access to certain drivers maybe. I also havent tried the firewall settings yet. I'll update soon. Thanks ;)
