removing microsoft teams account

Hi, 

I accidentally created a team's account which I do not need. I am the admin of the account. I made the account on my personal email for work. I can't find a way to remove the organisation and delete the account. I want to be able to do this without it affecting my personal Microsoft account - as I use it for outlook and work purposes.

Hi,

I created the account using my personal email address - if I delete this account on teams will it affect my Microsoft outlook? 

Also, I cannot seem to find my admin email address which includes the organisation and I can't leave the organisation because it won't let me?

Hello M.Javed1997,

I tried deleting my Teams Free account today and I was able to get my admin email by just following step #2 on the instruction. The system will show you what it is so please check the steps again. From step #7, I need to go back to the Azure Portal after 72 hours to verify if all the checkmarks have turned green so I can finally delete it.

does deleting the directory on azure delete everything associated with the admin email address? including my personal email?

Even though they're linked - they are two different emails right? so it shouldn't really affect my personal one?  - what do you think?

I believe there won't be an effect. But since we have different account set-ups, I'll let other advisors and experts share their knowledge on this matter. Thanks for your patience.

I really want to get this sorted as my personal outlook is really important to me! 

I want the teams organisation deleted as well as the admin account for it. 

Ive followed your previous link and unsubscribed from teams. Now im waiting 72 hours to delete the directory on azure.

i just want someone to clarify that this will delete the teams account and the admin account made under the organisation WITHOUT it deleting my personal outlook email address.

So if i carry out this action it will not delete my personal microsoft account and outlook?
But will delete the teams organisation and the admin account that i made accidentally with my personal email?
