Hi everyone,
I’m looking to significantly improve my setup for remote meetings on MS Teams. I’m willing to invest in a high-quality shotgun microphone and a camera with a teleprompter to elevate my presence during meetings (I often have many participants in the “meeting room”).
My home office is quiet, so I can bypass noise reduction, but I’ve noticed that Teams’ audio transmission quality seems limited, even with a high-end microphone.
Here’s my setup and considerations:
1. Audio: I want to make the most of a top-tier shotgun mic. How can I ensure that MS Teams transmits the best possible audio fidelity? Is there any way to optimize or bypass Teams’ audio processing?
2. Video: I plan to use a high-quality camera and teleprompter for maintaining eye contact and sharp image quality. Any tips to optimize the video side of things in Teams?
3. Internet: My ISP provides stable, low-latency service, but I haven’t tested the connection route to MS Teams servers. Would optimizing this route make a noticeable difference?
I’d appreciate any tips or suggestions to ensure my audio and video quality is the best it can be for professional meetings.
Thanks in advance!
