Polls app on Teams chat not working

Hi,

Trying to use Polls app on a Teams group chat but I get the error..

Sorry, something went wrong. 

Session id: 11f136bf-469d-4236-b82e-1f330bb56ffe, Correlation id: {1}, App session id: d4367acb-dbaf-4aea-b8d3-f5016ebec469

It works in any other chat. Any ideas?

It seems that there may be an issue with the Polls app itself or with the specific Teams group chat in which it is being used. Try restarting the Teams app to see if this resolves the issue.

Also, please try to clear the Teams app cache and check if it is working

Kindy follow the below steps to clear the Teams cache

Clear Teams cache in Windows

1. If Teams is still running, right-click the Teams icon in the taskbar and then select Quit.
2. Open the Run dialog box by pressing the Windows logo key +R.
3. In the Run dialog box, enter %appdata%\Microsoft\Teams and then select OK.
4. Delete all files and folders in the %appdata%\Microsoft\Teams directory.
5. Restart Teams.

Clear Teams cache in macOS

1. If Teams is still running, right-click the Teams icon in the dock, and then select Quit, or press Command (⌘)-Q.

2. In the Finder, open the /Applications/Utilities folder, and then double-click Terminal.

3. Enter the following command, and then press Return:

4. Console

rm -r ~/Library/Application\ Support/Microsoft/Teams

5. Restart Teams.

I have tried the above solution but still didn't work. Other users have also tried and it doesn't work for them neither.

Hi,

Please see below. This is after clicking on send once I've created the Poll.

And this is when I try to add Polls app into the chat.
