Phone calls - redirections and notifications to distributed email group

Hello,

We'd like to start using the Phone calls service, but we have a couple of questions I can not find answers in the community - would you please help with it?

 

 

- can we redirect to voicemail after 3 beeps? 
- can we send missed call notification to distributed group email? not to the email of the person who missed the call.
- can we  send voicemails  (in case if it's missed call) to distributed email? again not to the person who missed the call.
- can we redirect some call to external number which is not hosted on Microsoft? e.g. to my personal one?

As per your question, providing the answers below.

 

Yes, we can. The default time for redirecting to voicemail if there is no answer is 20 seconds, but it can be configured with a minimum of 10 seconds.

 

We cannot send missed call notification to distributed group email of the person who missed the call. After the call you can send voice mail only the callee.

 

We cannot send voicemails (in case if it's missed call) to distributed email to the person who missed the call. After the call you can send voice mail only the callee.

 

we can redirect some call to external number which is not hosted on Microsoft. You can set any number.

A support Engineer can further connect with you remotely, for further troubleshooting and involve the backend team where need be. The team might request for your public IP address or collect certain detailed logs information with more technical resources.
