Hi,Nikky Owens

Thanks for using Microsoft products and posting in the community.

We have looked into your problem and if you are experiencing this problem while logging into Teams with your personal account, before I give you a specific solution, I would suggest you to check if you are installing Teams for Work or School, if so, try installing Teams for Home, it will not only solve your problem, but it will also save your time; Download Windows Desktop Edition Microsoft Teams.

You can also clear your Teams cache and try logging in to your account again, I will give you the steps for both the old and new versions of Teams:

Clear the cache of the Classic Teams:

  • If Teams is still running, right-click on the Teams icon in the taskbar and select Quit;

  • Press Windows Logo Key + R to open the Run dialog box;

  • In the Run dialog box, type the following path and select OK:

    %appdata%\Microsoft\Teams
  • Delete all files and folders in the directory;

  • Restart Teams and then try to log in to your account.

Clear the cache of the New Teams

Note: When you reset the Teams application, the application data is deleted. This includes any personalization settings that may have been configured.

Type "Settings" in the search box and select the Settings app from the results.

  • Select Apps > Installed Apps and then type "Microsoft Teams" in the search box.

  • From the results, find the "New Microsoft Teams" app, select the "More Options" button (...) on the right side, and then select "Advanced Options". Select the "Advanced Options" button (...) on the right side and then select "Advanced Options".

  • In the Reset section, select Reset.

  • Restart Teams and then try to log in to your account.

I hope my program helps and thank you for your time and patience on this issue.

Best Regards,
