MS Teams

Hi.

I am trying to leave a Chat on MS Teams but when click on More Options (…) it noes not have the option "Leave" at the bottom of the list. How do I leave the chat then?

Hi Latif,

As far as I know, if the chat conversation is created based on a meeting event in your calendar, and you're the organizer, then you cannot leave the chat. And this type of conversation appears the following icon. Meanwhile, you cannot leave a peer-to-peer conversation, either. 

Besides, another case is you have left the conversation before. In this scenario, the conversation history will be still preserved in your Teams. But you're not able to send messages in this conversation.

So you can check if you're in one of the above situations. If not, may I know if it's a meeting based conversation? And what does the icon of this conversation look like?
