MS Teams: How do I change a Team Member's name/info?

Hello!

How do I change a Team Member's name once they are already active? I see how to add members, and how to delete members, but not how to edit their names or other info.

Hi Linda,

First, I would like to confirm if you want to change the display name of the members in a team as the following picture shows.

According to my test and research, the name can't be changed in Teams. I know it it would be more convenient if we can customize user display name to allow better identification of individuals. But the feature is not available now. I suggest that post your idea in the user voice for Microsoft Teams via the link below to submit your feedback.

As we can see in the use voice site, there are many new features such as Support for Private Channels and Include Office 365 Group calendar in teams are added based on the feedback from users like you. Thanks for your time and efforts.
