I get a bluescreen/crash my computer every time I join a Teams meeting

I have been in several sessions with Dell (from whom I bought the laptop a couple of months ago) and previous help session with MS didn't help either (service request #1017495535). I am totally relying on teams meetings for job interviews - so far have had THREE job interviews interrupted/postponed because of Teams. A phone call cannot replace the Teams meetings set up by the interviewer - I need to present in these job interviews. I lost my job this week, so a pretty important issue for me!. Dell is telling me that the problem is with the Teams App and cannot help me.

Yes, thanks. All the dumps have verifier enabled. Verifier is a tool that is bound to stress the drivers and crash the system. Have you enabled the same intentionally?

If not, please do the steps below and tell us if that crashes again.

In the search,

type cmd, right-click it and choose run as administrator.

Tyoe the following and press enter.
verifier /reset

No, verifier not enabled intentionally.

I did as you instructed, however, the cmd stated" No settings were changed"

is this the reply expected after this change?

I see, thanks. This means it is something else. Let us try enabling that and finding the offending driver.

The next step,

Let us try finding any misbehaving driver

Enable Driver Verifier:

http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/wiki/windows_other-system/driver-verifier-tracking-down-a-mis-behaving/f5cb4faf-556b-4b6d-95b3-c48669e4c983

(Must create a Restore point before)

Upload the newer dumps when you get Driver_Verifier_detected_voilation.

Please note that the system might crash before you reach the desktop-if it does please let us know so that we can guide you to disable Verifier.

Yes, that is correct. MS drivers would very rarely cause a crash, only if the install is screwed up. Remember, if the crash happens at boot, you need to disable verifier. I live on the other side of the planet so there may be delays 🙂
