Hello,

I am Igor, an Independent Advisor and I will be glad to help you with this question.

Are you using Microsoft Teams app or web version?

Based on the description I am assuming you using Teams Web App in your Chromebook browser . Given this situation, you can try the following suggestions and check if it works:

1. If you are using Chrome browser, please open your browser settings and find Site Settings, then click Additional content settings > Sound, and then make sure it is turned on. You can also add Teams url to the Allow part.

2. Also please try to joining Teams meeting in other browsers to check if all browsers have the same problem.

3. You can also download Teams app on your Chromebook and check if you can hear the audio in Teams meeting.

4. Reset your Chrome browser settings. To do that, please open Chrome Settings and click Reset and clean up > Restore settings to their original defaults.

Hope it helps.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

*Note you will have to be in a meeting while doing this and have your bluetooth headphones connected *

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Click ¨More Actions¨

Image

Click on ¨Device Settings¨

Choose the pair of headphones you want to connect below ¨Speaker¨

If you have speakers then put your speakers name here, but do not put your bluetooth headphone in the category or else it sounds weird. Since I am using a chromebook my default settings for it is ¨Internal Mic¨ so if you are using a chromebook and do not have any speakers to use then just keep it as ¨Internal Mic¨

These should be your device settings
