I want to be able to keep the MS Teams app open but I don't want the icon in the task bar to keep flashing at me! How can I turn it off? I've seen other comments about this but no resolution?
I cannot use the registry suggestion as it is blocked on our corporate system.
It is hard enough as it is to focus during the working day with various distractions. It's really important to be able to segregate your time. The basics of neuroscience tell us the fact of task switching uses energy and we need to block time to focus to get specific things done. MS Teams is something we are required to use for work, - when it's being used for work it's not a social media site where part of its function is to distract you - I think Microsoft has forgotten this.
I want to be able keep the MS Teams app open, so I can use the file storage / other functionality etc without the relentless flashing trying to distract me (with what could be a message in the chat from someone just saying 'have a good evening'!!)
Why is MS Teams of the view I must look at every single notification immediately?
Please advise a workaround or I will just avoid using it altogether.
