How Does One Test Audio with Microsoft Teams?

Every post I read says that it is possible to test your Teams Audio before entering into a meeting using Settings > Devices. and then 'make a test call' under Audio Devices.

I don't have a 'make a test call' button in Settings > Device Settings.

So, WHERE is it. HOW do you test your audio before going into a meeting??

Make sure you are using the settings in the Teams app and not the settings of your device. In the Microsoft Teams app, go to the upper right hand corner and click the three dots to the left of your profile picture.

click on settings, then

the following should pop up when you click on devices and then you can click the make test call button.

Does not solve it for me. When I go into Settings, many submenu items showing in the screenshot above are missing, including "Devices" which has the advanced options for audio devices.

Could it be that these submenues only do appear for upgraded accounts only?

Same here - with the Web-based Teams.
