How do I take notes for a meeting series in one running document?

Up until about a month ago, I could take notes for a meeting series in one running document. That is, during each meeting session, I could add new notes to the previous notes in the same file. Now, when I select Notes during a meeting, my new notes are saved to a separate file for that meeting occurrence. The banner in Microsoft 365 online says "You're viewing meeting notes for this occurrence." If I want to see the notes from a previous meeting, I have to open a separate file. Is there a way I can take meeting notes in one file for that meeting series? Thanks.

Hello Tm72023,

Yes, you can keep meeting notes for a series of meetings in one file in Microsoft Teams. Here's how to go about it:

1. Go to your Teams Calendar.
2. Select the meeting you want to add meeting notes to.
3. If the meeting is part of a series, select View series to make changes to the entire series.
4. In Details, select Add an agenda others can edit.
5. Add an agenda, notes, or tasks.
6. Select Send.

Changes to a meeting Series will affect all future meetings in that series. Changes made to a single meeting will have no effect on any other meetings.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.

Kind regards,
Jayzar
