My 8-year old son now uses Teams for his classes, he sees some of his mates with various backgrounds, and has asked me to help him create one but I have no idea how. Please help?

Hi AdegboyegaOyebajo,

Have a good day. Welcome to posting in our forum community. We are very glad to help you here.

Based on the description, currently, you can replace your background by selecting one of the images provided. Please refer to this detailed information article: Change your background for a Teams meeting

Further, our dedicated developing team are continuing work to support user-initiated custom background images. We would suggest you please visit the link Microsoft Teams Uservoice to vote or submit your comments. We hope that the feature will be included soon.

On the other hand, if you are using Windows 10, you can try this manual workaround, if it can work for you. Please put your custom background image in this mentioned file folder path: AppData > Roaming > Microsoft >Teams > Background > Uploads folder, after that try to change custom background during team meeting from this mentioned article steps.

Note: for knowing above file folder path, Press Windows + R Key, type “AppData” and go to above mentioned path for putting custom background.

Your time and understanding will be highly appreciated.

Darpan
