How do I create a recurring task in Microsoft Teams?

My organization has several things that need to be done weekly. I would like to create a task once that automates at the beginning of each work week. How can I do this in Teams?

If you use the Planner app to create task then you could use the Microsoft Flow that will generate the tasks there and show up in the planner.

Currently, Microsoft is working to enable recurring task capability in the planner app and this is a work in progress.

If I do that in the way you described, will the task still show up in Teams? Even though it's created in Planner?
