Focus Time Microsoft

Hey,

How can I schedule focus time for weekly on a Friday 11AM-5PM?

I've been searching tirelessly however I cannot find an option to add it. When I add it manually I just show in do not disturb mode rather than focusing

Please help

Hello LazerBomb

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

I understand that you have an issue in regard of adding a focus time in your Microsoft Teams. Let’s work together in finding the best resolution to this issue.

For me to better understand the issue, I’d like to ask a few questions:

  • Is this working before?

  • What is the version of your Microsoft Teams app?

  • Are you using Microsoft Teams Personal/Family or Business?

To schedule focus time in Microsoft Teams, you can use the "Quiet Hours" feature. Here's how to do it:

  • Click on your profile picture in the top right corner of Teams and select "Settings".

  • Click on "Notifications" and then "Quiet Hours".

  • Turn on "Scheduled" and select the days and times you want to set as your focus time. In your case, you can select Friday from 11AM-5PM.

  • Make sure "Focus Assist" is turned on. This will ensure that notifications are muted during your focus time.

We look forward to your next response.

Regards,

If I am using the New Teams version, Microsoft Teams version 23335.232.2637.4844, managed by our Organization how do I set focusing?
When I updated to this version, it doesn't set to focusing anymore

You have to rebook your Focus Time via the Insights app. You can find it in the Apps Icon with a + sign in Teams.

There is absoutly no way to set status as "Focusing" in the new Teams. Struggling and not sure why MS will hide such a feature? It is not under setting -> notification as mentioned in the theard.

In "Notifications" tab there is no option "Quiet Hours". In my teams app this option itself is not showing for me. I am using new teams app(latest app).
