Download recording for a meeting organized by someone else

Hello,

I want to download some meeting recordings, for a meeting organized by someone else. I don't see the option to download as I was not the organizer.

How do I go about doing this?

Are you sure the meeting organizer has recorded the meeting?

If the answer is yes then I'd like to let you know the meeting recording is automatically saved to SharePoint/OneDrive.

Could you please go to the files tab on the channel > select recoding folder.

Can you find the recording video you are looking for?

First of all, please go to the recording folder on the Files tab in the channel and see if you can find the recording video.

However, If you still can't find the files in the recording video then probably the recording video has been deleted, please go to SharePoint (see screenshot below) then go to the recycle bin. Do you see any deleted recording files there? If yes you can restore it. As long as the deleted recording video still exists in the recycle bin, you can restore it otherwise you can't

Thank you for your response, I appreciate.

I can see the meeting in Sharepoint. However, I am not getting the option to download. I want to download the file and save it locally since our settings delete videos after 30 days.

That means the recording vide has been blocked by the recording owner as explained in the following article: https://office365itpros.com/2021/02/22/blocking...
