Delayed or Unreceived Notifications

Hello,

We're using MS teams among our team for internal communications, and multiple colleagues have reported issues in the notifications, per the following;

1. In some cases, notifications are not received on Desktop app, nor mobile phones (IOS & Android) when any updates are posted on Channels inside a Team, and team members are only able to view these updates once they open the channel, or sometimes they have to open the app & refresh it in order to show the updates.

2. In other cases, notifications are received delayed and after a few hours or in some cases days.

3. Notifications are not cleared from the "activity" section even after the messages are read.

Appreciate your support in solving this matter, as notifications are an important feature that is critical for our daily operations.

Thanks,

Haya

Hi Haya, Welcome to the Microsoft Community. I am a Microsoft user just like you, hope you are well. Please note: This is a user-to-user community forum. We are users just like you who help others. We are not employees of Microsoft. If you are experiencing issues with notifications in Microsoft Teams, such as delayed or unreceived notifications, These steps you can take to troubleshoot and improve the notification experience for your team: 1. Ensure that notification settings are configured correctly for Microsoft Teams on both desktop and mobile devices. Users can customize notification preferences by going to their profile picture > Settings > Notifications. 2. Make sure that you have the latest version of Microsoft Teams installed. Updates often include bug fixes and improvements to notifications. 3. Turn off battery saver or focus assist: If you are using Windows 10, battery saver or focus assist settings may be preventing notifications from coming through. Turn off these settings to see if it resolves the issue.
