Control the size of image posted to Teams Chat

My organization recently onboarded to o365.  In the Teams web app, specifically the chat tab, I posted a question, along with an icon like the one shown here:

The 3mm image showed up ginormously on the chat, which severely degrades the signal-to-noise ratio.  Is there a way that the poster can specify that the original size of the image be maintained?

As far as I know, there is not such setting or feature to control the size of image posted to Teams chat actually. Besides, from the link you provided, we'd like to know if they have any relations, maybe it is useful to understand further your requirement and help you since the content about this thread is related to Teams web app (Teams) but the content in the link you provided is related to Outlook web app(Outlook) .
