Can't sign up for Microsoft Teams free account

Hello to all!

I have problem with signing up for Microsoft Teams free account, for personal use.

When I try to create account for personal use, I get message that I am already part of organization and to check my organization licence.

However, I am not part of an organization, it is my personal account.

Maybe two years ago, that account was added to my organization for testing purposes, but it was removed from organization long ago and it is not longer listed in organization admin center.

Yet, it seems that, as for MS Teams, it is stuck as part of organization. When I try to sign in, I enter my password and get this screen:

What can be done in this case?

Thanks in advance!

Best regards,

Aleksandar

Welcome Aleksandar,

I'm an independent advisor, a fellow user and I'm here to help you. Teams is intended for business or school use and not for private use. In the latter case it is necessary to use Skype.

If you need to attend meetings in Teams, you will need to receive an invitation to access the organization. Alternatively, they should provide you with the credentials to log in.

You can use Teams for personal use on mobile devices. At the moment it is possible to do it on iOS devices and soon also on Android devices.

Thank you for welcome and quick answer.

Yes, I realize Teams is intended for business use mainly.

Yet, on Android I also can not sign in with my personal account :

I get same error message, although that account is not part of organization.... 🤔

Aleksandar
