Automatically record your Microsoft Teams Meetings - option not available

Hello!

I noticed that last June Teams got automatic meeting recording option, but for some reason I don't have this option on my Teams account.

Does anyone know what is this option dependent on?

I have the lastest version of Microsoft Teams for Business.

Sorry to hear you don't get the automatic recording option anymore. Based on my test, it is still available.

Could you please check if the option appears when signed in to the web app? Using Chrome or Edge browser on your desktop/laptop, please sign in to https://teams.microsoft.com/ and see if there's any difference.

I also suggest clearing the Teams cache:

Thank you for your answer.

Unfortunately the option does not appear when signed in to the web app and I cannot clear the Teams cache, because the system is managed by the IT department and I don't have admin access.

I added a screenshot of the Meeting options that I see both on the web app and desktop app.

Thank you for the reply, Kr_Ko. During the meeting, may I know if you've tried clicking the meeting options and see if the automatic recording functionality is visible?

As I know, there is no setting in the admin center that allows enabling or disabling it. Do other meeting organizers face the same issue?

I am experiencing the exact same issue. I can record directly within a meeting but the automatic function does not appear within meeting options ahead of time.

Where has this function gone?

It is weird because I have the only issue, but only in one tenant. As someone in this thread mentioned, Teams Admin Center Policies look the same,
