Skype for Business is removed when you upgrade to Office 2016

Hi,

Are these links for the Skype for Business Full Client?

I am having the problem above when trying to install Skype for Business 2015 full client from my Office 365 Business Premium. It gives the  error message that a newer version is installed and then the installation failes.

Do you have links to the full Skype for Business client that can be used with Business Premium?

I have tested with all solution given.  Still shows 

We are sorry, Office click-to-Run installer encountered a problem … Microsoft Office Standard 2016... uninstall and try this installation again.

When I uninstalled Office 2016 and installed Skype for Business, Office 2016 will not be able to be installed.

It has been weeks and I still cannot find a solution. 

Hope Microsoft can give a solution.

It tries to install the whole office suite, but still doesnt install skype for business because i already have office 365 installed. I tried Skype for business basic stand-alone but then it can't be installed because I have office 365. An error occurs in Dutch about 'click & ready' won't work because office 365 is already installed. I need SfB temporarily for working at home and the office still uses SfB for reasons of because. Now i have to use another computer without office installed to accommodate SfB Basic. Microsoft products that won't work together. The mind boggles.

I just recently installed Office 2019 Home & Business 32-bit based on C2R (Click-To-Run / A aortata di clic) and I was no longer to restore my Skype for Business.

After several search, whereby I was following the download from Microsoft website, I ends up here and tried this "Skype for Business (stand-alone) and finally I got my problem fixed, Skype has been successfully installed.

Hence, sice this article is dated 2015 and refer to Office 2016 as main topic, I am hereby to report it as solved in similar case for Office 2019 H&B version, if it may helps others.

I would suggest Microsoft team to link this solution close in the Download Center page option for Microsoft Skype for Business Basic too.
