This morning I opened up MS Word and after about 30 seconds it freezes and an error message pops up saying 'We're sorry, but Word has run into an error that is preventing it from working correctly. Word will need to be closed as a result.' The bar at the top also now reads 'Unlicensed Product' - which is absolutely not the case.
It was working fine yesterday - the only thing different today is a load of Windows updates installed overnight. So I thought it might be connected with this, though I might be wrong...and I'm not a techy!!
Updates installed: KB3089023, KB3075853, KB3071663, KB3070071, KB3065013, KB3061493, KB3055343, and security updates KB3078601, KB3078071, KB3076949, KB3076895, KB3072307, KB3071756, KB3060716, KB3038936.
Argh! I've read through lots of tech support about this error but none of it seems to apply to me or work. Help would be much appreciated!
