Unable to check this as I don’t have Windows 8.

But from your description, this seems to be a bug, as you seem to have tried and verified all possible scenarios.

I would say, register on Connect and provide Microsoft a feedback on this.

I'd love to, but that site does not appear to be accepting bug reports for Word. What on earth does *that* mean? Is there really no way to report bugs in Word, or any Office application for that matter? That's... kind of disgusting.

i faced the same problem, i saw your post when searching on google, and then with a bit of luck, i managed to solve the problem. im writing for people who faces the same problem. here is the solution:

hocam aynı sorunu ben de yaşadım, google dan aratınca bu sayfa çıktı, fakat sayfada cevap yoktu.. biraz da şans eseri sorunu çözdüm, cevabı anlatayım ki başkası görürse faydalansın:

ekranın sağından parmağımızı sürükleyip menüyü açıyoruz.

ayarlar'a, ardından bilgisayar ayarlarını değiştir'e tıklıyoruz.

soldan genel'i seçip aşağıya doğru menüyü kaydırıyoruz.
