I am a technician for a school district, and we have recently run into this problem after an update to Windows 10 creators update 1703. Many fonts that were running in both office 2013 and 2016 are now not displaying, and throwing the error "There is insufficient memory or disk space. Word cannot display the requested font." when you try to select them. I have searched through everything i have been able to find related to this. Have tried changing the normal.dot file to old and remaking it, have tried recreating the VBA folder, and have applied all of the office updates to the system. It is widespread for us and happening on any machine that pulled the Creators update. fonts like Century Gothic and Lucida Sans are not changing the font and throwing the error. Others like Broadway and Brush Script (examples) do not give an error, but when selected the font does not change. Everything was working prior to this, and it is not limited to just Office 2016 users, 2013 are seeing it as well.
Is anyone else seeing this? or have any suggestions to try besides what i have already attempted?
