Distribute columns evenly in Office 365 Word

I used to be able to right-click on a selection of multiple columns in Word 2010 and select "distribute columns evenly".  I can't find this command in Word Office 365.

It's still there. (This is Office version 16.0.6366.2036 on Windows 10; your version may be slightly earlier, but the feature hasn't changed.)

It's also on the Table Tools | Layout tab of the ribbon.

If you can't find it in either place, you should first try starting Word in safe mode by holding down the Ctrl key while clicking the Word program item on the Start menu. Answer Yes to the prompt. When the program loads, open an existing document or a new blank document (Ctrl+N). Then insert a table and try the right-click and the ribbon. If that succeeds, then you probably have some add-in that's interfering with Word's operation. In that case, come back here for instructions for temporarily removing add-ins.

It may also help to repair the Office installation.
