I always get an error 1311 c:\mso cache\all users

I cannot open any Word documents that I used to be able to open (example; my resume written on Word Office)   I always get a message that starts out ; ERROR 1311  c:\ mso cache\ all users\ 90000409-6000-11d3-8cfe-01500-48383c9\e2561410.cab         it is becoming frustrating.  what can i do??

Thank you for choosing Microsoft Office Community and thanks for providing us an opportunity to assist you. I understand how frustrating it is to being able to open the word documents. However let me help you with this issue.

 

It looks like the Office suite might be corrupted due to which we are getting this error message. I have a couple of questions before we proceed.

1. What is the version and edition of Office Suite installed on the computer?
2. Do you have the disc for Office or was it downloaded and installed?
3. What is the operating system installed on the computer?
4. Are you able to access other Office applications?

 

Method 1:
Let us repair the Office suite and check if it helps. Follow the steps
1. Press the Windows + R key on the keyboard.
2. In the Run windows type appwiz.cpl -> Click Ok.
3. Select Microsoft Office suite from the Programs list.
4. Click on Change and repair Office suite and restart the computer.

 

Method 2:
If you are still unable to open the Office applications or related documents, then let us manually remove and re-install the Office suite.
Refer the Method 2 and run the FIX IT to remove Office suite manually from the computer.

Note: Ensure you have the disc or setup file along with the product key.
