Disable AutoSave to OneDrive

Hi,

I have been using Google Docs for some time, but its autosave feature freezes my browser. I thought I might use Word online, but you have the same type of feature -- autosave after every single keystroke. Is there any way to disable the autosave to OneDrive? I am perfectly happy pressing Ctrl + S when I need to and I really do not need the save to freeze the screen every time.

There is no way to turn off AutoSave Function in Word Online,  

 

Ensure Internet Explorer is the default Web Browser and then try to work on Word web app, check if that helps.
