Teacher Price?

I'm a teacher in York Region District School Board, just north of Toronto. Is there a teacher price for the Microsoft Package?

There is an academic version available. Whether or not you will qualify for it can be determined from http://www.microsoft.com/student/en/us/office/terms.aspx.

Further information used to be available at these URLs, but both now resolve to different URLs that may or may not be as informative as their predecessors:
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/professional-academic/
http://www.microsoft.com/student/en/us/office/default.aspx

This is now being billed as a "student" version, but if you have an email address ending in .edu, you would still be eligible.

Edit: In fact, according to this link given in one of the "related threads," this discount does apply to (at least some) teachers.

If you want a "teacher" discount, you should contact your school IT department. They MAY have a program called the HUP, Home Use Program, that gets you Office for an even better price.

There are couple of "education" discount programs:
