Can I make equation editor brackets bigger? Particularly if they have both sub- and super-script

I've entered the following in equation editor (which looks like this in linear mode)

[-e^(-t) (t^3+3t^2+6t+6)]_(-1)^0

The square brackets are not big enough for my liking. I've tried changing to Professional mode. I tried "Increase Argument Size" on both the 0 and -1. Nothing makes the square brackets bigger.

As detailed in my email response to you, the only way that I was able to do it was to modify the equation so that the part inside the [ ] was a fraction and then use a screen capture program to capture the and  

individually, and then insert those parts into individual cells of a table (so that I can independently modify the vertical alignment), I can achieve the layout shown below
