Selection Contrast

When working in a document in Word and I select a word, the selected area is really hard to see. The color is too light. It makes it very difficult to edit when I'm not sure what I've selected. I've attached a screen shot. I realize the contrast will be different on your computer; the selection is to further explain what I'm talking about.

Thanks!

Answer

Hi Megan,

You can change highlight color in System Preferences. Please follow the steps below:
1. Close your Word completely.
2. Go to System Preferences > General.

3. Click Highlight color.

4. Click Other, then choose your favorite color and make sure it is a dark color.

5. After this, open your Word again and try highlighting some text.

Regards,

Tisky
