File not found error 53 on every startup and quit of MS Word for Mac 2011, 14.6.6

Every time I start Word,

popup says Run-time error '53':

File not found: /Library/Application Support/Adobe/MACPDFM/MacPDFM.framework/Versions/A/MacPDFM

Also every time I quit Word.

However, the file is there, and is read-able by all.

All other behavior is normal

(except that the Mendeley plug-in no longer works-- may not be a related issue).

Ideas?

MS Word for Mac 2011, 14.6.6, on OSX 10.10.5.

I had the same problem, and found that it was due to incompatible Adobe Add-in "linkCreation.dotm".

It is located at:

~/Library/Group Containers/UBF8T346G9.Office/User Content.localized/Startup.localized/Word

Once you remove the file and re-start Word, no more errors.
