Hello,

Lately Office 16.xxx version has been released and some features not working, you can try to rollback Office version to a previous one version that was working fine, take a look to the following link: https://support.office.com/en-us/article/how-to...

Was the file saved locally, to external media, or to a cloud service?

Thank you for the reply.

the network problem is solved for now as follows.

Files were saved across Network from Mac book Pro Computer  named

"new mac"

the Network is peer-to-peer.

I use the hard drive On that computer named "i7" To Store Data And programs From my two mac Book pros named "old mac" and "new mac"

I walked across the Room To check permissions On That computer "i7",

Which seemed okay.

I cut and And pasted The files in question back to the Mac book Pro Computer That they had Originated From "new mac" using XtraFinder.

I then cut And pasted The files Back across The network To Computer "i7" ok And the files are now accessible From the Mac book Pro Computer "NewMac"

problem is solved for now.  i will report back if the problem recurs.
