Remove spaces between words in Word 2016 for Mac after copy and paste

Hello everyone,

I have copied and paste a reference (see below) from another document and when I copy and paste it I have two problems that after navigating the web I have not been able to solve.

1- The first thing I want to do is to remove the spaces between "education" "available" and "from" without changing the text alignment

2- I want to have the http address following right after from: because I have managed to removed the spaces using the "distribute text" icon but then there is a huge blank space and the http address begins in the next line

I must be easy but I can't find my way through.

If you have the ruler turned on, check to see if to have any extra tabs set.

  1. If so, first highlight the affected area.
  2. Try going to Tabs and try clear all tabs.
(That removes all added tabs and resets to tab every .25" )

Another issue you have is that you have Justified Text turned on.

In one of your screenshots, It shows Left justified is Highlighted, however when you open a document left justified is the standard setting and therefore there should be highlighted. It is only, when text has had the justification set differently, and the reset to left justified That it would appear highlighted.
