Office 365 - SharePoint Site - 403 Forbidden Error

Hi there

I am using Office 365 and have been creating sharepoint sites as global admin. Last couple of days all the users including global admins are getting a 403 Forbidden error when we try to access a particular sharepoint site.

Rest of the sites are working well and really need some guidance to fix 403 error for that one particular site.

Regards

Raj

Answer

Hi Raj,

Thanks for your updates and detailed information.

According to the txt file you provided, the LockState is NoAccess.

You can try the following command to unlock the affected site, then check if you can access the site via its URL.

Set-sposite -identity https://yourtenant.sharepoint.com/sites/yoursitename -lockstate "unlock"

Note: you need to replace the site URL with yours.

Please test on your side and check if it helps.

Regards,

Tina
