Cannot Sign In To Skype For Business - Computer Clock ERROR

Receiving the following error when attempting to sign into Skype for Business using Windows 10 Home and the local Skype for Business Application on my laptop:

Cannot Sign In To Skype For Business because your computer clock is not set correctly. To check your computer clock settings, open Date and Time in Control Panel.

Skype for Business has been working for over a year with no issues on this laptop. Nothing has been changed in my Windows 10 Home configuration for Date and Time or or otherwise. No new applications have been installed.

Independently verified that my date, time, and timezone are correct by comparison with my cell phone. This same Skype for Business account allows sign in from my cell phone.

Reboot did not resolve the problem.

Re-installation of Skype for Business from official MS Office 365 site did not resolve problem.

Post moved from Skype consumer to Skype for Business.

Answer

RESOLVED

Bizarre resolution but resolved none the less...

1. Start up Windows Date & Time from control panel

2. Turn OFF "Set Time Automatically"

3. Go into Change Date & Time (manually) and hit the update button.

NOTE - In my case the time was already correct to the second as independently verified with my cell phone. So I hit the update button but didn't change ANYTHING with the time or date.

4. Go back to the main Date & Time screen

5. Turn ON "Set Time Automatically"

6. Now Skype For Business allows sign in with no error.
