PSTN Calling & Consumption Billing questions

Hi Experts,

One of our customer raised the below query:

The 1200 Domestic minutes – is that for outbound calling only?  Do incoming calls affect included minutes?

The documents state licensing PSTN Calling for each user and then adding PSTN Consumption.  Is the Consumption plan to cover those minutes over and above the included 1200 domestic minutes?

Please advise. Many thanks.

Hi BalamuruganGanesan,

Thank you for your reply. The domestic minutes included in the calling plan will be used for both inbound and outbound calls used by the user.

Inbound are not deducted from minutes, provided you are using domestic calling from the UK. To explain this further, you can refer to the following link:

PSTN Consumption Billing can be used in a case like the user enables “inbound Toll Free numbers used with either PSTN Conferencing or PSTN Calling. Toll free numbers are billed a rate per minute which varies depending on which country the toll free number services.” For a full list of PSTN Consumption Billing rates, see PSTN Consumption Rates. For details you can refer to this article I have provided earlier.
