Skype for business - Outlook integration error

I have a warning sign in the lower left corner in my desktop application. the notification reads "Outlook integration error"

When I see details, the issue is

However, I can see my discussions sync with outlook desktop application and no identifiable problem.

This is annoying to se this always.

What cold be the issue and what should I do to rectify this?

Please clear the Skype for Business cache and check if it works. Here are the detailed steps:

  1. Please right click the Windows icon and open the Run bar.
  2. Then type in: %localappdata%\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Lync\ folder.
  3. Delete the sip profile folder. 
  4. Go into the Tracing folder, delete all files, but not the folders.


Besides, you can try a quick repair and please let me know if it works.

If the issue persists, please provide the following informations for further troubleshooting: 

  1. Please let me know the environment of the Outlook. (On-Premises, Hybrid or Online)
  2. You need to contact you admin and check if the SMTP address is the same as SIP address.
  3. Please collect the Skype for Business configure information and send it to me via Private Message
